As a historian with eyes firmly fixed on the road ahead, Bob contributes to what promises a better future to society.
He first recognised technology’s huge potential to do so when he saw those white letters flickering on the black MS-DOS screen at the age of five. Today, textbooks on Python and Wired are pilling up on his desk next to essays on Europe and classical philosophy. History and stories are his second passion, which was awakened early in his father’s publishing house. Growing up in Amsterdam, his longing for wind, rain and water led him, after detours via Brussels and Berlin, to his new home port of Hamburg.
